The venue is specified in the exhibitor application form.

These “General Terms and Conditions” (GTC) apply to all contracts with CM.

The user's own terms and conditions apply only if expressly agreed in writing between the parties.

The services provided by CM constitute digital services and are subject to the general provisions for such.

The event management platform provided by CM is offered in the form of the following applications:

  • Web application for event management

In addition, the following services are provided:

  • Online webinars and offline events

The content stored on CMs web applications does not replace individual event consulting but merely provides information on “Event Management.” It is not to be construed as a guarantee of future business success, but as forecasts inherently subject to risks and uncertainties. The services provided by {0} should not be used for long-term event planning. {0} assumes no warranty for the financial success of its users.

The user expressly agrees that CM may change or remove functions or services from the platform at any time without notice.

Registrations are only accepted after digital or written submission using the registration form (online). Registration must be fully completed. By registering, the registrant consents to electronic communication (email and newsletter) between CM and the registrant. The exhibitor agrees that information about their participation may be published via electronic media, including the Internet. To object, notify CM by letter, email or fax.

By submitting the application/registration, the exhibitor acknowledges the participation and exhibition conditions as binding for themselves and all personnel employed by them at the event. Statutory, labour and trade regulations—particularly those concerning environmental protection, fire safety, accident prevention, business name and price labelling—must be observed. Upon conclusion of the contract, the exhibitor consents to the processing of their data in accordance with the privacy policy available at Privacy Policy (GDPR).

Admission as an exhibitor is decided by CM, which is entitled to reject applications. Exclusivity may neither be requested nor granted. Admission may be revoked if the conditions for its granting are not or are no longer met.

The exhibitor is not entitled to assign their stand space, in whole or in part, to third parties, swap it, relocate it or accept orders for unregistered companies without CMs approval. Admitting a co-exhibitor is only possible with {0}s written consent.

The setup and teardown times will be communicated separately when the exhibitor documentation is sent.

After termination of the contract, each party has the right to return or destroy the documents received from the other party. If originals are involved, consent from the other party must be obtained before destruction.

A retention obligation, unless legally prescribed, is not agreed.

Exhibitors who have received confirmation from CM cannot be released from the contractual relationship. Participants/traders who fail to appear without excuse despite registration will be charged the lost stand fee plus a processing fee of €25.00 (EUR). In case of non-payment, legal action will be taken. Furthermore, the organiser reserves the right to ban such exhibitors from future events. If CM cannot provide the allocated stand for any reason, the exhibitor is only entitled to a refund of the stand fee paid. Further claims by the exhibitor are excluded.

The services offered by CM are still under development and are therefore subject to continuous adjustments. CM assumes no warranty for error-free processing of automatically generated content.

CM and the services we offer may be subject to cyber-attacks. This could lead to loss of personal data and unlawful use of stolen data.

If general execution of the event is not possible, CM is entitled to cancel the event or shorten its duration. The exhibitor cannot derive any claim for compensation. If the event must be cancelled, closed or rescheduled due to force majeure or official order not attributable to CM, rents for stand spaces and all costs borne by the exhibitor remain payable in full, and claims for damages by the exhibitor are excluded. In the event of event failure, the intended rent is void and amounts already paid will be refunded. Further claims cannot be asserted against CM.

CM exercises house, site and lease-pledge rights on the exhibition grounds and stands and is entitled to intervene in case of violations. By signing the registration, the exhibitor and their representatives submit to the exhibition conditions, official regulations and house rules. Overnight stays in the exhibition hall are prohibited. Smoking is forbidden in enclosed spaces.

General security is provided by CM without liability for loss or damage. The exhibitor is responsible for security of their stand space and goods and is liable for any damage to goods, stand equipment and consequential damage. This applies during setup and teardown, before start and after end of the event. Exhibitor stands may remain overnight at two-day events.

After all exhibitors have left the venue together, the rooms are locked overnight. However, {0} assumes no liability for displayed goods.

Advertising outside the rented exhibitor stand space is not permitted. Distribution of promotional materials (e.g. brochures, flyers, etc.) is only allowed within the exhibitor stand space or must be agreed in writing with CM in advance. Any external advertising at our events is strictly prohibited without consent and will be penalised, possibly resulting in a ban.

Rental prices are stated in the registration form. All amounts are net and statutory VAT is added. Stand rent is due 50% upon invoice receipt by the payment deadline. The remainder is payable by bank transfer six weeks before the event. If payment terms are not met, CM may—after reminder—reassign the stand. Full payment is a prerequisite for occupying the stand. Invoicing for additional services (furniture, electricity, etc.) may be issued separately.

Stands are allocated by CM based on event concept and theme, regardless of application date. Special exhibitor requests will be considered where possible. Approved exhibitors receive only floor space without additional constructions. Requests for furnishings, electricity, etc. must be submitted early to CM and will be charged. No guarantee for late orders during setup day. Projections, pillars, columns and installation connections are part of the allocated space. No rental reduction can be claimed.

Exhibitors requiring additional booth space for workshops will receive it free of charge for the entire weekend. This free space must be prominently visible at the front of the exhibit and not behind the stand.

Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring that their exhibit space and objects, and those of their staff, comply with legal and official prohibitions. Stand design and equipment are at the exhibitor's discretion. To maintain a positive appearance, stands should be attractively arranged, including floor-length table drapes. Fire safety standards must be observed and installation and fire protection equipment must remain accessible at all times.

Audio, film, video and music presentations at the exhibitor stand must be reported to CM in writing before the event and confirmed in writing. Afterwards, the exhibitor must notify GEMA and pay the applicable fees. Aisles may not be used as audience areas.

CM is entitled to photograph and film during the event and use the material for promotional purposes (website, Facebook, mailings, etc.). The same applies to photos and videos provided by the exhibitor and to press representatives approved by CM.

Only goods listed in the registration form may be offered. Otherwise, CM may prohibit sale of unregistered goods. Only handmade or small-series machine-produced goods are permitted. Industrial goods and materials for product manufacturing (e.g. fabric, beads, wool, etc.) are allowed if fitting the Wolle Festival. Animal furs may not be offered.

CM provides cleaning of the venue and aisles. Cleaning of the exhibitor stand is the exhibitors responsibility and must be completed daily before opening. Disposal costs will be charged to the liable party. Stands must be left broom-clean after teardown. A fine of €100.00 (EUR) applies for leftover waste.

Exhibitors must register at reception before setting up their stand. They receive an exhibitor pass entitling entry to the hall. Two passes are free; each additional pass costs €5.00 (EUR).

The user must fully support CM, in particular by providing all prerequisites for order execution and making all relevant documents available in time. Upon request, the user shall confirm in writing the completeness of the provided documents.

The parties undertake mutual loyalty and shall promptly inform each other of all circumstances arising during project execution or service provision that may affect performance.

Statutory, labour and trade regulations—particularly for environmental protection, fire safety, accident prevention, business name and price labelling—must be observed.

Oral agreements and arrangements deviating from these terms require written form to be effective.

By using the services provided by CM, the user consents to the collection and processing of their personal data by CM. Data processing is carried out in compliance with applicable data protection regulations. Further information can be found in the Privacy Policy.

CM undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of all business and trade secrets of the user and to comply with GDPR. Disclosure to third parties not involved in the contract requires the users written consent. {0} obliges all persons deployed for contract execution to comply with these provisions. {0} is authorised to process entrusted personal data or have it processed by third parties within the contracts purpose in compliance with GDPR.

In case of conflicts during the contractual relationship or disputes regarding amendment or termination, the parties agree to conduct a mediation procedure in accordance with the Mediation Act (MediationsG).

Furthermore, during an ongoing mediation procedure, initiating court proceedings is generally excluded, except when filing is necessary to preserve mandatory limitation or litigation deadlines.

If filing is necessary to preserve such deadlines, the parties agree to request a stay of the proceedings until completion of the mediation, where procedurally possible.

CM provides customer support for software-related questions and issues. If errors or misuse of the platform are detected, support can be contacted at [email protected].

The EU Commission provides a platform for out-of-court online dispute resolution (ODR platform) at www.ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Amendments or additions to these terms must be made in text form. This also applies to the waiver of the text form requirement.

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

Should individual provisions be invalid or conflict with statutory provisions, the remainder of the contract shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid one that best fulfils the economic intent of the invalid provision. This also applies to any gaps.

All amendments and additions to these conditions must be in writing and explicitly designated as such.

Should any provision of these terms become invalid, the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The parties undertake to replace invalid provisions without delay.

Place of jurisdiction is Dessau-Roßlau.
